Coming together for a morning or afternoon of nourishment, The Nourishment Gathering creates space for the mother to slow down and simply receive.
Over a shared meal or picnic, her closest friends and family gather to fill her cup with connection, love and presence, while gently preparing for the season of motherhood ahead.
Together, we prepare for the practical realities of postpartum life. Friends and family can bring nourishing freezer meals or contribute to a meal train, while LUNEA shares our How To Hold A Mother guide and explores the meaningful, practical ways loved ones can support her through recovery.
For those who wish, the gathering can also include personal blessing or ritual elements, creating space to honour the transition into motherhood in a way that feels meaningful to the mother.
More than a celebration, The Nourishment Gathering is the beginning of a village — a beautiful reminder that a mother was never meant to do this alone.

A thoughtfully hosted gathering of up to three hours
One additional hour for preparation and pack-down

Practical guidance on establishing a support network for the weeks following birth

Photographs can be taken throughout the gathering and shared with the group
Additional elements can be discussed and arranged with the group seperately to create a gathering that feels personal to the mother and her family.
